Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,460m, 7-8 hours)
After an early breakfast, drive 7-8 hours from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the trek’s starting point, via the scenic Trishuli River. Pass through terraced fields, charming villages, and enjoy distant views of Ganesh Himal. The road may be bumpy after Dhunche, but the Himalayan scenery compensates. Arrive in Syabrubesi and check into a guesthouse. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 02: Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,238m, 5-6 hours)
Trek 5-6 hours from Syabrubesi to Gatlang, ascending through pine forests and terraced fields. Pass the Tamang village of Goljung, enjoying glimpses of Langtang peaks. Arrive in Gatlang, a hillside Tamang community with stone houses and terraced fields. Visit a local monastery and Parvatikunda Lake, and enjoy a cultural show featuring traditional Tamang dances. Overnight at a homestay.

Day 03: Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani (2,607m, 6-7 hours)

Day 04: Trek from Tatopani to Thuman via Nagthali Ghyang (2,338m, 6-7 hours)
Trek 6-7 hours from Tatopani to Thuman, climbing to Nagthali Ghyang (3,165m), a former meditation site with panoramic views of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Kerung, and Sanjen ranges. Descend to Thuman, a Tamang village famous for its Shamanic performances and vibrant Buddhist culture. Explore local monasteries and interact with residents. Overnight at a homestay.

Day 05: Trek from Thuman to Rasuwagadhi (1,814m, 4-5 hours)
