Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,420m, 7-8 hours)
After an early breakfast, drive 7-8 hours from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the trek’s starting point, via the scenic Trishuli River. Pass through terraced fields, small villages, and enjoy distant views of Ganesh Himal. The road may be bumpy after Dhunche, but the Himalayan vistas are rewarding. Arrive in Syabrubesi and check into a guesthouse. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 02: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,400m, 6 hours)
Begin trekking from Syabrubesi, following the Bhote Koshi and Langtang Khola rivers through Langtang National Park. Cross suspension bridges and ascend through bamboo, oak, and rhododendron forests, passing settlements like Bamboo (1,970m). The trail climbs steadily to Lama Hotel, a serene stop surrounded by forest. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,500m, 6-7 hours)
Trek 6-7 hours from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village, ascending through lush forests and open meadows. Day 07: Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (1,300m, 7-8 hours)
Drive 7-8 hours from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu, following the Trishuli River through hills, terraces, and villages. Arrive in Kathmandu and check into a Thamel hotel to relax and reflect on the trek’s scenic and cultural highlights. Overnight at a hotel.
