Day to Day Itinerary

Expand All

Our journey starts from Pokhara with a drive to Kande and from here we’ll trek to reach Pitam Deurali, a pleasant spot famous for its environment. The trail leading to Deurali is nicely stone-paved. Our lunch spot shall be at Pothana and enjoying the lush green forest, we’ll proceed to our destination.

We’ll move after breakfast through the rhododendron forests. We shall be accompanied by chirping birds and fellow trekkers, Machhapuchhare is the dominant sight to the north and through the forest, we reach our lunch spot - forest camp, a pleasant location in the middle of the woods. We’ll now continue our journey to get past the forest into an elongated ridge that gets us to our destination.

After moving for a bit from the Low Camp, we’ll reach Badal Danda, a place usually under the cloud cover. Machhapuchhare appears closer and closer. The ridge is quite windy so make sure you have gore tex jackets on. After some 6-7 hours of walking, we’ll get to our destination - the High Camp.

We’ll start early as today we’ll reach our destination. We shall carry packed lunch and enough water with us. The trek to base camp is one of the most exciting trails as it offers unobstructed views of the Annapurna mountains. Reaching Mardi Base Camp, it will be a glorious sunny day (hopefully) and after enjoying the views and experience for some time, we shall head back to our destination - the Forest Camp.

This is the last day of our journey as we shall trek down to Sidding village that takes some 2 hours and our private vehicle at Siding will be ready to take us back to Pokhara. Our team shall bid farewell until we meet again for another adventure.
